Masonry Company Cited for Four Serious, 11 Repeat Safety Violations Carrying $210,000 in Proposed Penalties

OSHA issued the citations following an inspection that began in August 2007. The serious violations allege failure to provide scaffold working platforms of sufficient width, failure to remove and replace damaged scaffold components, and failure to provide fall protection at the ends of scaffold platforms. The repeat violations allege failure to provide fall protection on balconies, failure to fully plant scaffold working platforms, failure to provide safe access to scaffold platforms and failure to provide adequate protection from falling objects.
