Course Description
This course explains how Ontario’s Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, known as the AODA, work together to protect people with disabilities from discrimination and remove barriers to participation. Learners will understand the difference between the Code and the AODA, recognize common forms of disability-related discrimination, understand the duty to accommodate, and apply respectful, practical responses when accessibility or accommodation needs arise.
