About This Webinar

Violence and harassment training is one of those areas where employers can’t afford to be casual. It’s not enough to have a policy in the handbook. Workers need to understand what conduct is unacceptable, how to report concerns, what happens after a report, and what role managers play in preventing escalation. When training is inconsistent, complaints become harder to manage and employer credibility can suffer.

The problem is that mandatory training is often treated as a compliance task rather than a workplace risk control. Some employees receive it during onboarding. Others complete it years apart. Managers may receive the same training as workers, even though their responsibilities are different. Records may exist in different systems. When a complaint is filed, HR and safety teams need to know exactly who was trained, when, on what content, and whether follow-up is required.

This SafetyNow ILT webinar will show how to make violence, harassment, and respect training more consistent and defensible. We’ll discuss compliant course deployment, manager and worker expectations, reporting pathways, refresher training, jurisdiction-specific considerations, and how LMS tracking helps employers prove training was completed and maintained.
