Power Take Off – Guards Picture This

The Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft is operating without a full protective guard in place, leaving rotating components dangerously exposed. This creates a serious entanglement hazard for anyone working near the machine, especially when clothing, limbs, or loose objects can be pulled in quickly. The absence of guarding violates basic safety practices for operating agricultural equipment.

Always ensure that the PTO shaft and all moving parts are fully covered with manufacturer-approved guards before operation. Never operate or perform maintenance on equipment with missing or damaged PTO shields. Workers should stay clear of rotating parts, wear close-fitting clothing, and receive proper training on the dangers of exposed PTO shafts.
